Thirsty to Overflowing

When the River first started meeting, our pastor called us
"a church for people who don't like church."
That moniker stuck and now we are becoming a group of people who are living a life of risk so that others may experience a life with Jesus. The Bible tells us that when you believe in God you become a stream of living water.
These streams of believers make up the River. When you step into the River, you will experience a life of risk, but it is in the risk that you will discover God at a whole new level.

Vision

Our vision is to help thirsty people transform into overflowing Christ followers.

Mission

We exist to experience life-changing encounters with God through dynamic worship, personal relationships, and hands-on community involvement.

Our Values

  • Integrity

We desire a heart of integrity that people can trust in and be drawn to.

  • Authenticity

We seek to be real and genuine by not pretending or hiding the real me.

  • Creativity

Life is too short to be boring! We desire to infuse our ministries with a full expression of the arts.

  • Flexibility

Every team is part of the whole. We must be flexible to promote unity.

  • Relationships

We believe life change happens best in small group relationships.

Want to worship with us?

The River is very relaxed in our attire as well as our worship. Sunday begins at 5:00pm with a social time where we have food and refreshments. This is a great time to meet new people or even see the end of the football game! We then move into the worship center at 5:15pm, where on any given week you may experience music, drama, video, teaching and more. We will dismiss by 6:15pm, in time for Sunday Night Football or an after service family dinner before the hectic week begins. And there are plenty of activities for kids and students during and after the service.
